Pain, enlarged and pressure...should I wait

Hello,

I was dx'd with PASH in my Right Breast about 2 yrs ago after a Biopsy for a lump found. When I had the first biopsy my lump was top center over my nipple and my marker moved to the right side when the doctor was removing the biopsy tool. The next Mammo/Breast US 6 mos later showed a lump in the same Right Breast but to the left of the nipple. That marker stayed where it should. Both came back as PASH. Next 6 mos mammo/US showed activity in the Left breast which we decided to watch and recheck in 6 mos which will be coming up in 3 weeks.

My reason for this post, is recently about 4 weeks now I have been getting a cramp (best I can describe it like a Charlie Horse...not pain) in this Right breast. I have started to notice there is a change in the feel of the skin going down the right side of the breast, almost a clammy feeling. I still get the cramps toward the top of the breast but now noticing a pain going down the right side, along with what feels like a pressure and warm on the inside of the breast. I also think the Right breast has swollen some. I notice more fall out from my bra. I used to be able to feel the marker that moved because it was so close to the surface of the skin, now I can't feel at all. I don't notice it to be warm to the touch, but feels that way inside along with what feels like pressure. I have some mild itching but no noticeable redness or rash. I have no discharge from the nipple. I read some articles that spoke of Mastitis but I have never had children so I wouldn't think that is my issue.

Any answers on what might be causing this, could it be a reaction to my marker...it has been in there for 2 years. My 6 mos follow up is 9/11, should I call early or just wait.

I would call now. The sooner you get an answer, the better

You would get a lot more replies that might be pertinent to your issues that have been going on for some time according to you if you posted in some of the other Forums that would possibly have info that might be better. No one on any of these Forums can tell you what is going on - only your Dr(s) who actually see you.

This Forum - IBC (Inflammatory Breast Cancer) is (as it states at the top) for those of us who "Are just DXd, are in TX for or finished TX for IBC."

If you have concerns about what is going on - see your Dr sooner rather than later.
