How to diminish scars post mastectomy treatment?

I'm post BMX, and the liquid bandage on the node scars has fallen off.. eww. Anyone find/use something they found worked well to minimize scars? I have bio-oil around and argan oil. Was thinking maybe just plain old vaseline might do.

After UMX and when I was able to, I was told Vitamin E oil and my scar looks great.

I think aloe vera also.

I was just wondering the same thing. My BS said mederma, aloe, vit e, cocoa butter, or coconut oil. I was just wondering what others have done.

I'm using mederma at night. During the day I use a mixture of coconut oil, vitamin E oil and raw shae I have placed where you can't even see the scar. I'm 5 weeks post surgery.

I've always had great results from using cocoa butter to minimize scaring.

I used silicone scar strips. They are strips that can be used over the course of a week (just remove each day and wash). They were tecommended by my PS and they worked like a charm.
