Symptoms of a lymph node or skin recurrence

I don't normally do self checks since I go every 3 mo and a doc does it, but I did find a hard bump about a couple inches below my clavicle on my non-bc side. I had bmx and there is an implant in both sides. It's roughly maybe 1/2" or less long. Real rough est.

Are recurrences in skin or lymph node hard or soft? It also doesn't move. And isn't it weird to have it on the non-cancer side (a recurrence)? I only had micromets in the 1 lymph node at sx 2 years ago.

I have a rev sx with my ps scheduled on 9/1 to fix the symmetry problem on the right implant side. Left side was radiated and is higher than the right. He is able to lift and fill in the dented areas on the right. I want to wait until this sx is done before bringing up the bump mainly because I'm more vain, and don't want to risk ps saying sx is cancelled until we know what this is. Or maybe he's already going in there and can check it out? I'm am sooooooooooo close to being all done with recon that I don't want this to be cancelled or postponed. The uneveness drives me batty.
