How long on average do these last? I'm 11 months out, hair is super wavy which makes it look shorter than it is.

I never had any 'curls' - my hair just came back like it had always been, straight and very dark brown (almost black but not quite). I was so disappointed - I was so hoping for at least some very in it as many say they get - it no such luck. You see I was 63 when I started TXs and there was not a white/very hair on my head NATURALLY. Would get tired of strangers telling me that I look so much younger IF I didn't DYE my hair so dark. (Both of my wigs were light frosted (1 short, 1 long) and I liked the color.). Now am 71 and my hair is still as dark as ever with no grey/white in it and I still get told I shouldn't dye so dark as I would look younger if I didn't. I tell them it's natural and often the response is "Oh, you're Lakota (Sioux).". NOPE - not with my incredibly white skin and light green eyes. Just a curse from Daddy's side of the family - nobody ever got very/white.

I would have loved some curls. Nah, fine and dead straight as usual. Every time I lost my hair I would get all hopeful that it would grow back different <sighs>.

I'm pretty happy with no greys at 53, a long way to go before I can compete with Kicks though

Elise, as your hair grows the weight will probably drag the curls out.
