I am newly diagnosed Stage 3 - will begin chemo in next 2 weeks. I’m at Suffolk/Nassau border. Does anyone have any insight into MSK Commack or NYU Huntington? I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed in making a decision..

I was treated thru ProHealth...almost 9 years has passed and, in retrospect, I wouldnot have done anything differently.

I was treated at Monter Cancer Center as well. I live south shore Nassau Cty so it wasn't too far to travel. I'm not familiar with MSK or NYU satellite offices but I'm sure they are both good.

One thing that helped me with my decision was the logistics. I knew I'd be going for the chemo and then the neulastta shot day after and then radiation daily for five weeks so I wanted convenient. I couldn't see myself going into the city and adding that travel layer of stress on top of what was already very stressful.
