Neck lymph node pain, recurrence?
hi for the last week or so I have been having some pain in my right side lymph node. I feel some swelling or maybe a lump there too. The center of the pain seems to be located over my artery(I can feel my pulse). I do not have any cold symptoms or sore throat. I am experiencing some fatigue. I have been experiencing some night sweats. In the last 6 months I have lost 20 lbs. I hate this! I hate worrying constantly that every thing is cancer coming back. Anyone have similar symptoms with a recurrence? Please and thank you

goodness, I don't have experience with this but wanted to send my support. Have you called your MO yet. ? Its worth going in. Let them do the worrying

I have not called him yet. I always feel like I'm overreacting and try to wait to call. I have my 6 month in a few weeks. Thank you for your support, I appreciate it. Maybe I will send him an email. X

If you are worried call or email them, they may tell you to watch and wait since your appointment is soon, or bring you in for evaluation. Especially with the weight loss (was it unintentional?)
Keep in mind lymph nodes can be reactive to different things, not just infection. I had a huge swollen one last week right under my jaw because of a canker sore on that side. It did freak me out for a bit till I made the connection.
Please let us know what happens!

thank you, I will wait till my appointment and hopefully it is nothing and goes away by then. The anxiety of that what if always gets to me as I am sure it does to most of us. I keep waiting to get a stuffy nose or something to explain it. I figure if it gets worse I'll shoot him a message
The weight loss is unintentional, not unappreciated though. I do plan on bringing that up at appointment as well.
Thanks for your response.

Honestly, with that much unintentional weight loss, I'm not sure I'd wait to at least touch base with them and see if they think you need to come in earlier. That's just me though. I worry about overreacting too and don't want to bug my doctors, so I get the hesitation.

You are not bothering your doctors. Their job is to hel you through situations like this. Call or message them. They may want to see you sooner. Keep us posted.
And yes, Lymphedema nodes swell for things as sias an ingrown hair!
