Hi everyone. I was diagnosed with triple negative idc last September 2016. I had neoadjuvant FEC-T chemo, followed by lumpectomy, and 15 rads.

In February, when my surgeon told me the results of the pathology report I was frustrated as it was very sketchy. So I asked my BCN for a copy of the actual pathology report which wasn't available at my meeting with the surgeon.

It turns out that I don't have IDC NOS, but pure Micropapillary. And it's triple negative.

The chemotherapy didn't touch it. I had Lymphovascular invasion, and extranodal spread. The surgeon didn't tell me anything about any of this.

Since then I have struggled to get information. I gather it's a rare cancer, but can find nothing about the TN aspect. Is this good news or bad? I've seen comments on others topics here where women with IMPC are still around years later. This is in contrast to the studies I've found where IMPC appears to be the harbinger of doom.

Anyone?
