Pain at tumor site 2 years later

I'm curious to know if others have experienced pain in the site where the tumor was removed and how long after the lumpectomy?  My lumpectomy was March 23, 2015.  Just last week I noticed pain in the site.  Not bad, but enough to rouse my curiosity.  I had read that, since our fast growing cells were destroyed with the chemo and some of us experienced or are experiencing neuropathy, it may just be cells waking up or reviving, which would cause us to have feelings there.  Ladies- your thoughts?
