Support groups Albany, NY Berkshires / ONLINE

Hi All,

I was not able to find a group when first diagnosed (oh how I needed a lot of information and support then!) There was one near Albany but the director of the organization told me it was for advanced stage and not appropriate. Now I see they have a newly diagnosed but I guess not for me anymore. If anyone has any ideas, I would appreciate it. ONLINE SUPPORT would count as well. As long as it is something facilitated..that would probably be very good. If it is just "free for all" with comments or postings made without structure, I definitely get lost in the crowd.

Hell. I know this is now an older post but I thought I would try. I an in the Albany NY area and I was dx in August. I would love to meet up somewhere. Also if you found a good group I would love to know.I know there are quite a few. I planning on looking after xmas. Hope all is well. This is quite a journey!!!
