Aromasin

Hello all. I was on Aromasin for 1 year and just changed to Tamoxifen. The Aromasin caused great pain which only intensified my fibromyalgia. Does anyone know how long it takes for the Aromasin to be removed from my body? Were there issues that remained?

Thanks for any help!

Diane

hi, I have no words of wisdom for you. I was on arimidex for about 9 months, it gave me profound diarrhea. Then I switched to Tamoxifen and after three months I started having vision problems and my fibro was much worse. Severe aches and pain to the point that I had to use my hands to lift my right leg to get into my car. ( I weigh 140 and am 5'6".)I'm just about to start aromasin. I'm feeling pretty nervous. My oncologist told me not to worry. Some of her patients rotate hormone therapies. And every pill counts, so don't worry about taking a break.

It tooks many months but definitely feel much better. My eye drymess cleared up quickly but joint pain lingered and still isn't completely gone but so much better.

Thank you for responding. I know the cancer meds are there for a reason but I have never been so compromised by any medication. One year down and 4 to go.
