It's been 2 years since I was dx and treated. This will be my 4th 6 month mammo. If it's clean I get to go to yearly mammos.

I'm a wreck. I'm so nervous 😩. I know if it comes back it comes back there I absolutely zero I can do about it or prevent it.

But I'm always so scared....

    Good luck!

Honestly, I found that being discharged to yearly mammos was kind of frightening - like being cut loose in the ocean without oars or an anchor, but it gets better.

I don’t think the fear will ever go away entirely, but I’ve found that the length of time I have the anxiety lessens - for example, at first it was for several weeks preceding the appointment, then several days, and last time just a few hours, so it become more manageable.

all good. Yay!!! But says I have to keep doing every 6 months for a while longer. Not sure why. My MO says the radiologists are very conservative.

So another 5 1/2 months I can pretend this never happened.

I know how anxious I get too. Have an exam in 2 days with my bs and started getting nervous this past week. Plus I feel like my breast got larger. I did gain back some of the weight I lost so maybe that has something to do with it. Plus it had shrunk a bit before and now it is probably back to what it was before. It's been just over a year since finishing rads. I am making myself crazy by staring and comparing the girls. I guess anxiety a week before I saw less than what I experienced with n the past. Still sucks though
