New Pain in Opposite (Healthy) Breast

I'm hoping someone can offer some advice!

I finished my treatment in December 2016 for IDC. I had a mastectomy of the right breast. All has been good!

In October I had a clear mammogram and MRI on my left (healthy) breast.

Over the last month or two I've noticed some mild pain in my left breast that comes and goes. It also radiates into my armpit. I didn't think much of it to begin with because it would be sore for a day and then I'd be fine for a week or two and then it would be sore again for a day or two. I chalked it up to maybe my strapless bra that I've been wearing more since the weather has been nice.

Then yesterday the pain came back again but I haven't worn that bra in over a week. It feels a little like a burning/tingly sensation and also a little achy.

I've made an appointment with my doctor for Monday.

Just wondering if anyone else has had this kind of pain and what the outcome was?

When I was diagnosed with IDC in my right breast it was also painful (but it was in one spot and there was a lump). I can't feel any lumps in my left breast and I don't notice any breast changes.

Just trying to talk myself off a ledge!!

    Hi,

What was the outcome? Did you get it checked?

Hi Beach! Thanks for checking up on me!

The doctor didn't feel anything when he did a physical exam but sent me for a mammogram just to be safe.

Everything came back clear! The pain has since gone away and hasn't come back and seemed to be related to my period. Once my period ended it went away!
