How long before BMX scar glues got dissolved completely?

BMX w no recon on 02/15/17. No sign of infection no seroma. No discoloration. Still have about half of surgical glue remain.

Just curious how long it takes to dissolve completely.

I can't remember exactly how long I saw any signs of the surgical glue (had UMX - no recon) but definitely less than a month post surgery. I did have a couple of the 'disolveable' internal sutures that 'migrated' to the skin.

Mine was gone after about 3 weeks. It usually just falls off on its own.

If you still have glue leftover from surgery in February, it can come off either by just peeling it or getting some medical adhesive remover if rubbing any kind of oil over the area doesn't loosen it enough.

My PS said to rub it w Aquaphor, and if I remember to do that before I get dressed, some of it comes off a little at a time!
