Mastectomy day surgery?

Has day surgery for mastectomy with SNB really become common? I am in Ontario, Canada and I am slated for one Monday.It kind of boggles my mind.
We will know much more when the patholgy is done but so far we know it invasive ductal carcinma 1 cm and an encapsulated pappillary invasive carcinoma .6 cm.
I'll let you know how it goes on monday!

I think it depends on your age & your general health & if you're going to have reconstruction & lots of other variables. Good luck Monday,
