Good morning ladies~I'm still really reeling from this entire issue. Again just wish people. Could be honest.
Don't want the thread to change. If it does I'm doing to just leave it behind. Someone wanted to damage our family. That bothers me. A lot.
I've never hurt anyone and always been blatantly honest. Maybe that is the problem!!! Pocket duty reporting
Much love~M~
-
Mae~ American Horror started last night !!
-
Rosie and Jensgotthis,
Reporting for pocket duty. I’ll bring the Boston Cream donuts! Seriously, my prayers will be specific for good results for both of you
-
I love you BooBoo. I tried to call you last night. But I have your old number. ! Poop! Mine is still The same ! I'd like to talk to you about what the shitty mods did
Btw I'm getting loads of PMs. Hope they can read them too because it's others saying how ridiculous you are for picking on a stage four thread where 99.9% of the posters are stage four. Not cool at all! Lost total respect for this place. That's why I wonder should I even bother anymore. Let them explain why the thread was gone!!!!
They only removed their “gentle reminder"(my ass) from the ring worm thread not ours. So clearly ours was the focus. Whoever reported kiss my ass and make your own thread
-
Rosie and Jensgotthis- Reporting for pocket duty with M&M's.

Wow, Mel, I stay off BCO for a few days and return to this thread to find hundreds of posts, a controversy, a very cute, tiny kitten and your kidney stone! I am so sorry you're dealing with all of this drama. Please don't leave BCO - you would be greatly missed. (And I apologize if my occasional comment or my presence has offended any of your Stage IV sisters. That was never my intention.) BTW, Mel, I'm cheering your current NED status!! Now you just need a few months without injuries and/or illness!
-
JKL~ lmao you crack me up. Never apologize for being my friend. I have nothing but love for my family here. I didn’t even know any of this was even a thing until yesterday when we were gently reminded. Say what? Two year plus this thread has been kicking ass and they say something now about it? How about enforcing the rules as they happen ? Then maybe things like this wouldn’t happen ! I’m glad your back. Hugs sweet friend ! Lol at your post
-
Love Gracies tree giddyupgirl, beautiful!
Micmel, I watched American horror, so excited 😁
-
Hello to all! I have not posted in a while ( lots of issues with my mom and her dementia) but had to speak up about what is going on with the thread. I read every day and am so sorry that this is happening. I honestly never even noticed that non stage 4 people were posting here. Even if I did notice I wouldn’t care. I think of all of us as friends just trying to help each other and support each other through the shit show that is cancer. We have laughed together and cried together. We’ve been here for each other through good news and bad... weddings, funerals, progression, NEAD, travels, kids, husbands etc. I enjoy reading even though I’m not a frequent poster. I have always felt welcome here and treated kindly. I hope we can all stay together and continue what Micmel has created for us.
-
LynnwoodThank you! You’re one of my OG crew. Around with me a long time here. I appreciate the kind words. I’m
Hoping that it will stand the test of time. But the more it crawls under my skin, the more I realize I don’t want to be battling with people or against the place I go to for support and to give support. It should have been handled wayyyy differently as far as I can see. It makes me question all these years of putting all this effort into this thread for what? You my lady are wonderful and I’m sorry you have been having some issues as well! Always love seeing you here!
-
Mae~~Funny how I now remember leg warmers after the first episode! Lol
-
hello- I absolutely do not want this thread to go away. It is my favorite thread and the one I visit most frequently. I love that you can talk about the technical issues of treatment, or talk about something that's bugging you with family or friends. Or anything. I will grieve if this thread is no longer.
I recommend letting the dust settle and then reevaluating.
It doesn't matter to me if non MBC folks post here. The few that have done so seem very capable of being able to integrate with us Stage 4's.
Best, Mary Jane
-
loving that response.
And btw I love you too! Sweet sister. Another OG. Long timer. Thank you for your honesty.
-
I enjoyed American Horror Story last night. Thanks Mel for reminding me it premiered yesterday.
-
Mara~My girl. I am so happy that you watched as well! It was pretty good. Reminded me of Friday the thirteenth kinda feel going on! Hope you had s good day lovely ! Use your treadmilll? I want an elliptical! Much love ~M~
-
I am planning to use it after dinner. Would have gone out but was waiting on deliveries and nurse visit. Tomorrow is supposed to be nice.
Yes, the show definitely had a Camp Crystal Lake vibe going on. Will be interested to see if they keep it up or link it to previous seasons. Liking it so far anyway.

Is it possible to post a video from someone else's Facebook page on this site? I was trying to do that last night but no way would it work. The internet confuses me.
-
Mel,
Love your crazy sense of humor! Must be why we get each other.
I did not get a chance to make phone calls today (too much running around today...DH needs knee surgery), but I will tomorrow.
Mary Jane, I agree totally. We cannot let this thread go away...it's way too important to so many. Thank you for your post.
-
Good evening all
Been reading along and waiting.
Giddyup the tree is beautiful. Can’t wait to see it in the spring.
We all need this site.
Thanks Mel for shouldering all this backlash. I appreciate you.
Available for pocket duty.
I’m in NY with my daughter her tests are tomorrow. My legs are killing me she lives in a walk up. Surprised I can even make these steps at all.
It is wonderful to see everyone supporting Mel and the site.
Thanks to all of you for supporting me all the time. If I don’t post I read daily

I can barely post my pictures Runor lol. I am sure someone there is a way. To copy the video. Try copying first.
BooBoo~ I am warped. I watching Big Love. I love it. It’s pretty damn good. Makes my life seem pretty easy. Other than the cellular assholes. That have invaded my life. But it’s entertaining to say the least. I have always liked Bill Paxton. Don’t worry about the calls. The idiots are spin doctors anyway. We will go on. You all showed me why I keep doing what I do. !
-
thinking of Jensgotthis and Rosie for their needed pocket duty today!
Tanya~ another OG original poster. I’m happy this thread helps you all. I love you and I love our home....here together! Like someone said my living room. ! Our little pub! With a sign that that reads FU cancer in honor of Parry who named us! Miss that special lady a lot. 🌹
-
michel- I've been out of the country ( Iceland) and just caught up with the thread. Hang in there ! We all appreciate what a loving person you are.
Those of you who were super hot all summer, Iceland is your place! Brr
-
Thanks friends for the pocket duty! No report yet . . . But I’m a little calmer today
-
Rosie, staying in your pocket.
I had a nice evening at home. I found out I can order movie theatre popcorn to be delivered to my house so I decided to have a movie night for myself. Popcorn was good, though I had to save the rest, ordered too much and watched Spiderman Far from Home. I enjoyed the movie immensely and I felt like I was at the theatre with the popcorn, difference being I had my cats sitting on my lap as I was watching. Really enjoyed myself.
-
I want popcorn now. Especially movie theater. My kids want to take me to see IT Sunday matinee. I enjoy the entire thing. So I can’t wait. I want to eat that now thank you!! Lol yummy popcorn 🍿🍿
-
Did I just read that someone said Lita has passed away. Omg. Lita? Nooo she always seemed like she was going to always be around. Omg. Such sad news. What a fighter. So damn frustrating! No more pain Lita.
-
Mel, your thread is a lifeline, a Living room like runor said...we come in...chat, hug laugh, cry....and jump into each other’s pockets to support, console and be there. Keep being who you are on this site, the storm will blow over and truthfully in the bigger picture doesn’t matter. Our support and caring to each other is what matters. And yes the moderators could have handled this much much better.
I’m sorry to hear about Lita (if indeed your news is true). She was such a wise and caring woman, taught me about grace and getting my stuff organized. Just last year she posted all the things she had done to put the family binder together. It makes me sad, tired and so very frustrated at how this disease is ruthless, how it grinds us down....and yet, in the midst of this darkness..we all manage to live our lives to the best we can.
Be well,
-
I'm so sorry to "bust in" to a stage IV thread, but I'm trying to find out how you know about Lita. I don't see an announcement except for a comment from Cowgirl13 on her thread. I hope it's not so. Such a lovely, funny woman.
Trish
-
Also saw the announcement on Lita's thread. concern is certainly not busting in anywhere in my book. I also have all my feelers out to find out what we can. I can't imagine cowgirl writing that! If it wasn't true. It's been weeks. She would have come back by now is my opinion. It's obviously time to start worrying. Damn I was afraid this day would come.. if it is true. If it is not true, then we get to keep her longer ! Be just nice to have confirmation. We. Love our sisters
