About 4-5 weeks ago I noticed several lined indentations on my breast. My doctor reffered me to the breast clinic, who have diagnosed Mondors. I wasn't told anything about it and they couldn't find any leaflets so just told me it's okay its nothing serious. Since then I have been googling it and I am a little confused as to how I developed it. I haven't had any surgery or injury and it's not painful. One of the cords is leading to my nipple and causing it to point slightly up and to the right and the skin is a little painful around it, but other than that and some burning sensation that did go away I haven't really had any pain. There is some slight discolouring on that breast. How long before they go? And is there anything I can do to help them dissapear?

Hi, I had Mondors approximately 8 years ago. At the time, I had a mammo and ultra sound, the consultant told me it was rare and benign. I used a warm compress for several days and it gradually disappeared.
