I can't work out whether the pain I am experiencing is surgical menopause from a TAH BSO a year ago or bone mets. It has been gradual but I have trouble getting out of bed and dressing myself, can barely do 9 holes at golf and after six years of going to the gym six days a week suddenly can't do anything. Lower back pain and sore down my whole left side. Have had Lymphoedema on the left side. Had a bone scan about two years ago and am six years on from a second dx of small grade3 triple neg 18 years after original node neg cancer. Any thoughts on whether break down of my body is cancer or surgical menopause cold turkey from those who have had either.

Any change like that should be evaluated by your doc. It most certainly could be because of lymphedema and menopause, but I would want to double check to rule out anything else. Hoping it turns out to be menopause!
