Ultrasound guided core biopsy

I have very dense breasts with multiple cysts. the doctor does mammograms and ultrasounds every 6mnths. This time they found a complex cyst/solid nodule that was not there the last time on my right breast and a solid mass with irregular margins on my left. She is sending me for a ultrasound guided core biopsy for both along with a breast MRI with and without contrast. Should I be worried?

    I don't know if you should be worried, but cautiously concerned is probably appropriate. It very well could be that you just have some benign lumps such as fibroadenomas. They can look very suspicious on mammograms and sonograms - but your core biopsy will be able to tell. It is great that they check you so often, it means that if you do have breast cancer, it will have been caught very early!!

    Hopefully it will be nothing - though I know how hard it is to wait to get tests done and then wait for those results!
