Does it always come back??

I can't tell you how many people I've heard and read about who are dealing with this multiple times... Many more than those who have just had a "1 and done" experience.

    Hi there...to answer your question no it does not always come back. However there are no guarantees. Also if you do have a recurrence you can through all those recurrence rate stats out the window! We need a cure. Good luck to all navigating this disease.

    No, it doesn't always come back. The stats prove that most of us don't have a recurrence, but there are dozens of variables to throw into that determination. It's impossible to claim "always" when talking about cancer in general and b.c. in particular. As many stories are there out there about recurrence, there are plenty more about those who had b.c. and lived to die of something else.
