11 Year Anniversary

Finished treatment 11 years ago this month. (Stage IIIA, chemo, radiation and tamoxifen for 5 years) Since then I have completed 2 Half Ironman Races, 3 Half Marathons, 2 Olympic Distance Triathlons and 3 Century (100 miles) bike rides. I've never felt better in my life!

My best to all undergoing treatment or those who have finished treatment and are scared of a reoccurrence. It does get better, I promise. I rarely think about the "Beast" any more.

Let me be the first to congratulate you! We need more of these stories and reports to encourage others, and you've sure encouraged me, who is considered "high risk". Thank you! I consider myself an athlete of sorts too and wow, does exercise, setting goals and completing them sure help my mood and positive outlook on life.
