Call Back Mammogram Result

I had a call back mammogram followed by ultrasound on my left breast last week. My doctor called yesterday to say that she had an appointment for next year for my mammogram and that "there was no suspicious findings for malignancy in left breast". But what about the ultrasound? Will the mammo report have included the ultrasound findings also? Or would these come separately?

greenmaple, "no suspicious findings" mean they didn't see anything in any of your entire imaging study. You should request a copy of your written report for your own records and copies of the images on cd (your lawful right) so that you have them for future comparisons if you find yourself at a different imaging center or using a different provider. Call back mammos are quite common, and once you have comparison images, that should help reduce them. Good luck!
