Had my biopsy yesterday and waiting for the results is horrible. Found a small lump. Smaller than a pea and immediately went to the ob/gyn. He did not seem too worried about the bump but I went for my 1st mammogram at 43. I was not prepared to ask the right questions. The office asked me to stay for addition images. Then they asked if I could stay for a sonogram. In addition to the bump I can feel they fpund something I can not feel. Following the sonogram I was asked to come back for a biopsy. When I returned of the biopsy I asked what my Bi-Rads rating was and they said a 4C. I've been up all night reading the internet. Some info helpful other info I am not mentally prepared to process. Radiologist hopes to have my results tomorrow. Just finding ways to cope until I know something

Martini - first thing.... do not google. The information is questionable & often old if not actually wrong. If you have to read on line, this is a safe site. Or NCI. Or a large teaching cancer center like The Mayo Clinic.

I'm sorry you were rushed from pillar to post. The results should go to your OB/Gyn. I'd go ahead and call in the morning & set up an appointment to discuss the tests. Good luck.

Martini, I am so sorry you're here with breast health concerns. MinusTwo is right, "online" doesn't mean accurate. Please do stick to reputable sources for information. Waiting is awful. If you'd like, there is a thread on anxiety and things to do to manage while you wait. It's here:

Sending you warm wishes for B9 results!

I wish you had a good result. I am also waiting for mine. Hopefully tomorrow I'll get the result. Hugs.
