Faslodex without mets after other hormonal therapies failed

I just finished 6 months of CMF chemo and 5 weeks of radiation for my third localized recurrence. I tried Tamoxifen which did not work and aromatase inhibitors, which I could not tolerate. My oncologist now wants me to be on fulvestrant as a preventative measure even though I am NED. She says there are really no other options and she wants me to be on something.
Has anyone out there done this? Thank you.
