Found a new lump

edited June 2017 in Radiation Therapy - Before, During, and After

I finished chemo and then radiation on 5/12. Just found a new lump in same breast. I called my dr to get an appt. Is it reasonable to have to wait 16 days for an appt?

    It totally depends on your doctor's practice. Unless I have a dire emergency, I can't get into my MO for 2 months or my RO for 2-3 weeks. Why don't you start with your GYN if you don't want to wait?

    It's not an emergency. 16 days does not sound like an excessive time frame.

    it would sound like an excessive time frame to me if I had to sit and think about this for 16 days! i know I've been spoiled by my drs. And I really don't know how long it would take but I think they'd work me in quicker
