Know I have cancer, but not where or which type.

It may be typical, but I am frustrated. I was originally diagnosed with DCIS, then they suspected IDC, and this was all in my left breast. Then I had an MRI, and they saw "something" in my right breast with that. Now I need an MRI/biopsy in my right breast. I have had surgery appts that have been postponed three times due to inconclusive findings. I am glad they want to be sure before they cut into me, but, damn! Since each finding seems to be progressively worse, I can't help but think that there is some kind of metastasis to somewhere serious. Full disclosure: I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression a while back, so was already a bit of a hypochondriac

Leatherette - it's fairly typical for the docs to want to know everything they can before they start treatment. I wouldn't worry about mets at this point. You might want to stick with your first thread rather than start another one since everyone will already know the back story.
