Hi! I was looking for a medical oncologist in Orange County, CA. I was given the name of Dr. Stavroula Otis in Santa Ana and Dr. Cindy Tran in Orange by my BS. Unfortunately, Dr. Otis isn't on my insurance network. I'd like someone that is willing to discuss forgoing Tamoxifen in light of my low Oncotype DX DCIS score and my history of cysts. Thanks!

Have you checked with your insurance to get a list of Doctors you can see then google them for results? I have a friend with ovarian/brain cancer and she drives from Inland Empire to HOAG. She is totally happy with her treatment and the doctors there. If you go to YELP they have the top 10 Oncologist in OC.

I grew up in Westminster, so I know the area.

I have been going to dr. Robert Carroll for 2 years. He is with UCI and his office is Newport Beach/costa mesa area right off the 55. I like him very much. I have no idea what he would say regarding forgoing tamoxifen but he definitely listens and addresses my concerns.

    Good luck :)

I also saw Dr. Robert Carroll when I lived in Orange Co. I liked him very much. He was with a Hoag Hospital group then. He left that group about the same time I moved...
