It is really hard to tell from biopsy what they may find during surgery. The types of cancer can change based upon what is in the tumor itself not just a punch sample from biopsy. When is your surgery?

Pretty much this means you are triple negative. Hormone treatment is not indicated and the Mib is the rate that it is multiplying at 18% , same as Ki-67, it is not very slow growing.

At last that is how I would interpret that, but I am sure your Dr. Can explain it much better. I know my pathology changed a lot after the biopsy. I went from progestrone positive to negative and Her2 positive to negative. My 2nd opinion oncologist is researching how my Her2 can be so different, no answer yet on that.

isnt this a contradiction...? Both ER and PR are negative, but still we have Allred score as 8/8 ?

Would be undergoing a PET scan to find out if operation comes first or chemo.

And as per Doc, dont worry about ER/PR negative or positive, but just look at Allred score. And as per Allred, it would definitely need harmone therapy.

Try not to dwell too much on biopsy results. When the area is excised, the pathologist will do a very detailed analysis of the tissue. You will know everything you need to know at that point. Remember the cart and horse analogy, and try to find something fun to do this weekend!!!

    Hello!

Going for operation on coming Monday! Nervous as usual.

Per doc, its a 2 hr deal, discharge the next day.

Operation completed just fine, was in hospital for a day, discharged the next with drain pipe.

After 4 days, my output has turned to light red/yellowish...about 180/190ml for 24 hours approx. Doc has said about removal when it drops to 30 ml...

How much time should I expect ? No meds have been prescribed as well....
