I went to the ER last Monday, breast swollen, cellulitis, tests started and before I knew it, I was admitted, first time being in the hospital, diagnosed with breast cancer, had MRI, and bone scans and heart scans and everything else that could be scanned, they were all clear. I had a port put in on Friday, and today had my first round of chemo, I didn't ask about any numbers or what kind, lol plan to shrink it then mastectomy, it sure has been a whirlwindof a week, the thing that is most bothersome to me is my breast draining, the cancer is pressing on a lymph node not allowing it to drain normally, if I can keep it draining I'm comfortable, but if not I have. 40 dd on one side and about a 32 on the other, it's quite a look, I have never considered not making it through this, and I'm going to, one step at a time, I have read much on this site, and am thankful for all the tips and help, I have a neulasta shot tomorrow, already have Claritin, so onward!
