red spot on the roof of my mouth

Finished with all my testing I think and go to meet my oncologist who will order my chemotherapy on Thursday. CT scan showed normal except known breastfeeding and possible lymph nodes (still waiting for results on axillary biopsy), bone scan normal, but I have been having this feeling in my throat on and off for years and it's usually a tonsil stone that eventually dislodges but I looked today and on the roof of my mouth is a small red sore looking thing. It doesn't hurt at all. Now I am terrified I have cancer on my mouth and maybe that's what the lump in my throat is too..thank god I meet with the doctor Thursday because I'm really freaking out.
