After Chemo and Radiation: 9 months

It has been 9 months since I stopped all chemo and radiation. I completed 6 treatments of chemo and 22 radiation for a single breast lump 3.5 CM. All of the treatment reduced it to 1.5. I still had to have surgery.

I am alive, healthy and back to my normal routine. I have no hair, I have 1/2 toe nails, no eyebrows, and having problems with my blood work. It seems the Chemo/Radiation put a hurting on my kidneys. Now I am going to a new doctor that does not deal with Breast Cancer only.

Suggestions: Get second opinions, only do chemo and radiation if a last resort or if you have lymph intrusion.

Knowledge: If you never take medication, you are extremely healthy and this is your first round, look out. The chemical you are about to get will destroy everything good and bad in your system. Do your research. Consider Immuno Therapy!! Consider just the lumpectomy and no chemo or radiation. DO NOT be Talked into a poisonous TRIAL.

Just my opinion; if the cancer doesn't kill you the Chemo may!! Stay alert and listen to your body!!
