Someone help me please.
Hello Everyone. I posted in another thread but didn't get any takers. I had a breast MRI scheduled for last week but the center rescheduled as they wanted it 6-15 days after my menstural so next Friday. The problem is I have been having pain in my breast, a little swelling then a pimple (single) one that showed up out of nowhere and has been on my breast for a week now, and then bam!! overnight, stretch mark looking things around my nipple but on the breast skin on both breast! I am worried sick. Does anyone know what they can be and if my symptoms sound like IBC. Mammo and US normal but I heterogenously dense breast. Please help!

CountrygirlLeanne,
Please get medical assistance.
I don't believe you would have IBS in both breasts, but ya know I cannot guarantee it.
Be aggressive to get help.
Please keep us posted.

I'm not a doctor and agree with earlier advice to seek medical advice. But just thinking out loud here...6-15 days before your menstrual cycle. Lets think about what happens as we approach that time of the month when it comes to breasts and skin: breasts swell slightly and get tender, skin tends to break out. This can explain both things: pimple is from the hormonal break outs (not to mention the temps rising across the country potentially causing a little perspiration) and the slight swelling caused the tissue to stretch a little and show those stretch marks (they've most likely been there the whole time but only become really noticeable when the breasts swell slightly). Keep in mind you're probably being super vigilant on everything having to do with your breasts right now and likely noticing things you never paid attention to before. I wish you luck on your MRI. In the meantime, deep breaths and focus on the other things that are going on in your life. Worrying doesn't change the outcome of that scan or make it happen any quicker.

You're absolutely right. Worrying about it wont change anything. I'll have to wait and find out next Friday. Thank you ladies for your replies.

If you had read at the top of the "IBC (Inflammatory Breast Cancer) Forum you would have seen it says " For those "Just Diagnosed, In Treatment or Finished Treatment for IBC". You don't fit any of those.
No one can tell you what your possible issues might be - only a Dr can.

Agree with Kicks, I'd almost guarantee you don't have IBC. Keep us posted though.
