Waiting for MRI/genetic testing - uncertain

So had a bilateral MRI last Friday and waiting on genetic testing, which I believe will be negative, but what do I know? When I last met with BS I was very confident in my decision to have a lumpectomy. I have two masses less than 1 cm each, but they are in the same quadrant, grade 1, BS believing no nodes involved. However, with surgery scheduled, I am having second thoughts after doing more reading about LCIS, which I have. What I read scares me, especially because I'm only 45. A bilateral mastectomy seemed very drastic only a week ago, but as I wait for the MRI results fear is settling in. I honestly just don't know what to do. I also think the BS should have given me more info about LCI
