I'm sorry if this is not the righ place for this question. My 31 year old daughter is seeking some help from the report she received today. She has a biopsy scheduled for tomorrow, but her mind is torturing her in the meantime. Is this where I can ask a couple of questions? I am trying to help her get through the night long distance and need help.

This is a great place to ask questions. This is the hardest time for you and your daughter. The not knowing is hard. Depending on the type, hormone, her2 status along with stage you can connect with others who have similar diagnosis. One thing I would mention is if your daughter is having severe anxiety that is normal. For me I had anti anxiety meds for 2 months in the beginning to help me sleep and cope.

I can identify with your daughter, recently having been there myself. What is it that is most bothering her? What question would she most like answered? I feel so bad for her and you! These feelings are truly awful! What kind of biopsy is she having, needle or surgical?
