Recently diagnosed with 2nd Bone mets

Options

Hi, new to forum. I am a 10 yr Breast Cancer Survivor, Recently diagnosed with bone mets to hips couple in spine, shoulders and one on each side of ribs. I started on Xgeva 2 wks ago. Just got my bone biopsy back. Er+89, Pr+89, Her 2 negative. I started on Letrozole yesterday and just got my Her 2 today as negative so will be starting on Ibrance after I go for blood testing 1st tomorrow. How are you doing with this regimen and how long have you been taking? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

cshell- I'm going to bump this so others will see, but I wanted to let you know that there is a stage 4 mets thread that I'm sure could answer your question in depth. Those ladies (and men) are fabulous and a good support system.

Hi CShell- Sorry you have to be here and have to go through this again, but wanted to say welcome!

Being diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer can be overwhelming, so besides the helpful support from other members here, we thought you may find some helpful info in the Recurrent & Metastatic Breast Cancer section from our main site for valuable information on diagnosis and treatment options for recurrent and metastatic breast cancer. We hope this helps!

Please keep us posted on how everything is going, we're thinking of you!
