Two weeks after my biopsy, a breast MRI was done and found another 1.2 cm tumor in same breast. A week later a PET/CT scan was done. I was lucky, breast MRI and PET showed no lymph node involvement. The PET showed no spread of the cancer. My surgeon told me do not get my hopes up the only way to really tell if there's lymph node involvement is with a biopsy. Im still on pins and needles until my surgery and SNB. I do get where you are coming from.
