Pain before treatment

So I have a 2.3 mass at 5:00 left breast. I am having increasing sporadic nerve pain. Sharp pain runs through the top of the breast and downward. I'm treating it with ice or really .. bag o peas new best friend. I'm seeing BS tomorrow for the first time but just wondering any of you other ladies have had this issue. Should note I have not had any surgery/treatment as I'm a newbie.

Sorry you are in the club no one wants to be in. But it also led you to this community which is so supportive and helpful.

I had pain after my biopsy. Actually, the first sample the radiologist took really hurt so he injected more lidocaine before he continued. I continue to have pain afterwards. I assume the tumor was on a nerve. Maybe this is the case for you.

Hello. I'm new to this forum and I'm 5 weeks post lumpectomy (3 nodes too). My membership to the club officially started in October 2016. I did have pain and a pulling sensation from the site of my lump prior to diagnosis as well as thru my 6 rounds of chemo.

To both of you .,did the nerve pain go away or was it there until after the tumor was removed ?
