Dear Angels,

I am looking for a surgeon recommendation in SF bay area. Have worked with Dr. Esserman (ucsf) and Dr. Derbis (stanford) before. Essserman is out of question. Derbis was good. I am looking for doctors who think outside of the box rather than thinking aggressive. Let me know.

Not SF Bay, but UCLA is top notch. I used Dr. Raquel Prati. Dr. Helena Chang is also excellent. Like UCSF and Stanford, they are NCI-designated, but also very much into integrative medicine and very open to patient input. They have a multidisciplinary clinic that makes getting a very thorough second opinion possible in one day. Here's a link:
