Phyllodes breast tumour

Hi everyone I'm 44 and have had an operation to get a benign phyllodes tumour removed but didn't get the 1cm margins removed as the surgeons weren't sure that it was a phyllodes tumour until they actually removed it. Does anyone know if it's safe to leave it now? My surgeon said that as long as I keep a close eye on it and come straight back in it anything returns so they can remove it then it should be ok. Has anyone had a phyllodes benign tumour removed without the margins? Thanks in advance X
