Mirena IUD for hormone receptor negative BC?

Good morning.

I was wondering if doctors have recommended the Mirena IUD to women who have had hormone receptor negative breast cancer. I started menstruating post-chemo and struggle with anemia.

    Good Morning!

    The Mirena website says it isn't recommended for women who have or have had breast cancer. I was triple negative and had mine removed. Perhaps ask your doctor about a copper IUD?

    I am also getting a regular period after treatment and getting anemic. I am on blood thinners which probably has a lot to do with it. Iron supplements help.
