Tumor markers elevated

Hi everyone! I'm writing here for my mom. She is 5 1/2 years out from a stage 3 diagnosis. She got a double mastectomy, chemo, & is currently on Armdix (not sure if I'm spelling that correctly). But this last lab came back her tumor markers were elevated. Her usual normal is 10/11 and today, her dr said they were 21. I know normal is under 32, but I believe her WBC was Also elevated to 10k. Not a doctor........but If her WBC was high she probably has some infection.....which probably means she has some inflammation somewhere...this (inflammation) will elevate her tumor numbers......so it could very well mean there is a benign reason for it to be elevated.....it is why so many doctors won't do tumor markers. 21 is still in normal range and is my "normal" number.

Hang in there.....could really be nothing.
