Newly Diagnosed and new here.

My lumpectomy was 4 weeks ago and pathology report showed two different types of breast cancer.

Both carcinoma's were Stage I with positive receptors. Sentinel node benign.

Referrals in to see oncologists for both hormonal therapy and radiation therapy now.

My question is, which is done first, the radiation treatment or hormonal therapy or can they both be done at the same time?

It depends on your doctors. I finished radiation before starting anti-hormonal treatment but some do both at the same time. I think some doctors don't want to mix possible side effects.

I did radiation 1st and then hormone treatment.

I did radiation for January had February off then started Tamixofen in march, I myself decided to do this
