Hi everyone 😊

I have upcoming surgery and I was wondering if anyone could please recommend a good bed wedge for after recovery at home. Any suggestions appreciated.

Thank you and do have a wonderful weekend.

I don't have a great recommendation, but thought I'd share that I ordered the smaller size wedge pillow off of Amazon and wished I'd gotten the bigger one. I also found my "husband" pillow to be useful (has a back and then arms that come around you a bit. I like it for daytime and sitting up more in the bed.

I bought a very good one at Bed, Bath, and Beyond. They have an online presence if you cannot get to a store.

I bought the Brentwood 10" foam wedge from Amazon and was very pleased. I am usually a side sleeper and it kept me from turning on my side and the pressure from lying flat. I used it when sleeping on the couch, because in my bed, my sheets were so slippery I ended up at the bottom of the bed lying flat!

Hello all....thank you all for your replies. I really appreciate it very much 😏 Orcaporkka I think that's the one I bought....hopefully it works on my bed because I will in bed and far away from my couch.... if it does not work properly then we will rent a recliner.

Thx again and best of luck!

I bought an Avana Kind Orthopedic Support Comfort System on ebay... I just used it for a salpingo oophorectomy along w extensive endometriosis removal. I had trouble using pillows yrs ago for a partial hyster and not being able to get comfortable or adjust them myself. I usually sleep nearly flat in bed so being propped up rarely works for me but with this I was able to sleep perfectly and get myself out of bed w/o help. I am short and some orthopedic systems are connected to each other, this is completely adjustable and very versatile. I plan on using this for an upcoming BMX and just reading in bed.
