Arimidex concerns

I was prescribed Arimidex after surgery and radiation treatments for breast cancer. I have been taking it for 2 months now and am experiencing chest pains. It sometimes feels like gas, other times like a sharp or throbbing pain. I'm thinking about not taking them until I see my doctor again next week. Has anyone experienced this? And are they any symptoms of stopping taking Armidix suddenly? I have been trying to get through to my doctor to ask but have not had a response just yet and thought I'd try here. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
