so i have.had my biopsy (1 2.5 cm pos for idc and 1 pos lymph node). Had my breast mri - right breast clear, left breast with tumor + pos lump node and now I need another biopsy for small focus spot near the tumor ) had the bone and ct scans both negative ) now waiting for surgery and all I can think is that every ache and pain is more cancer spreading. I am going nuts. And.I feel totally exhausted. Anyone else.go through.this. its.absolutely driving me insane. Can't seem to function normal. Ugh!

Yup, you are having normal thoughts. When is your surgery? I also had to have an additional biopsy because of a pre-surgery MRI but it ended up being nothing. It's hard waiting. My surgeon was very encouraging about cancer not spreading very quickly, it helped to remember that, but it's hard walking around knowing there is cancer in your body. Also there is no shame in asking for anxiety medicine if you need it. The doctors expect anxiety with cancer and seem pretty receptive to treating it.

Sorry you are going through this. Yes, what you are experiencing is pretty common. You will probably feel a lot of relief once you have surgery and start any treatment you may be prescribed. Until then, try to stay busy doing things you enjoy; rent a funny movie, hang out with friends. And, yes, get meds for sleeping and anxiety if you need them. Best wishes moving forward:)
