Hello,

My younger sister (35) has breast cancer stage IV. She lives in France. She is Cerb B2 +++ and non-hormonal receptive. She has metastasis in the vertebrae.

Her treatment is:

- Chemo: one session remaining. Docetaxel.

- Targeted therapy: Herceptin and Perjeta. This will continue after the chemo.

My sister would like to know if this treatment is common here in US or if there is something more effective.

Thank you.

I am her2+, hormone negative. Had Taxotere x 7 doses and remain on Herceptin and Perjeta as a "lifer".

Sounds pretty close. I do not know why some docs choose Taxotere versus Taxol
