Hi! I was wondering if anyone has ever experienced this....

I had a bilateral mastectomy January 2016. I had tissue expanders placed immediately. I went through chemo and radiation. Now 6 months after radiation I was able to have my tissue expanders removed and my implants placed.

I am almost 2 weeks post op and I notice a small part of the implant. I can see it and feel it. The skin is so thin over the implant! I called my nurse and sent a photo. Doctor said it is the implant and they want me to rest! I go back next week for a follow up....but what's going to happen? Will the skin thicken up or will that implant need to be removed? I'm afraid of going through this again

They might suggest fat grafting at the spot where the implant can be seen. They liposuction fat from somewhere else on your body, and use it to pad the area where your skin is too thin
