Rib Pain

Options

So I am trying not to worry....I have pain in my ribs on the left side. Assuming it is an injury - hurt the ribs. It has been on and off for about the last 4-6 weeks, which means it has passed the couple of weeks that they say to report if pain goes past.

The thing is, when I worry and ask about recurrence or a new cancer, my doctors say "Don't worry - you will know" but I never knew the first time, was going along thinking everything was fine and then my first ever mammogram and BANG! there it was. If I never knew then, how will I know if it happens again....

I have my regular check up with my oncologist coming up in a few weeks - time to talk about whether or not I continue with Tamoxifen for another 5 years. I do not have any regular scans or tests, so I worry what if it is something and they do not check....or what if it is just my usual crazy fears as my appointment looms....

This discussion board always helps and makes me feel better because everyone understands and can relate! I love you guys and would not have made it through the last 5 years with out being here. I do not post a lot but I read a lot and when I do post there is always someone there to help! Any advice appreciated....

If there are new exercises you've done, it could be from that, or from many other things. Perhaps you can get in to see your MO sooner. Hoping you get answers. Benign ones
