I had estrogen based cancer, 10 year survivor. Chemo, mastectomy, radiation. My friend 57, just diagnosed with the subject line. It is behind her nipple. Her 2nd opinion doctor said NO MASTECTOMY cuz of her current health 400 lbs on oxygen), she may have diabetes...not sure. How can this doctor in good conscience tell her her tumor will shrink by taking a pill every day for 6 months. No mastectomy needed. No other tests except core needle biopsy. They are going to do ultrasound for nodes exposure. I am pissed at this doctor and she thinks great, take a pill all better, easy peasy. UGH....anyone out there have pill for treatment. Not sure of stage but it is 1.5 in in diameter.
