Anyone have on their MRI a "BB enhancing mass 1/1 by point 8 cm?  what does that mean.  I already have one 2.5 cm IDC in right breast and now with mri shows this BB mass and they note BIRADS 4 (so I can get biopsy). Anyone know what this means?  is it a 8cm mass?  I'm pretty worried.

If it says "point 8", that would mean 0.8 cm not 8.0 cm.

My MRI found a second area of concern in addition to the main tumor as well. MRIs are very sensitive -- that second spot could be nothing, but its best to check and be sure so that you can make informed surgery decisions.

no it says 1.1 by point is 8 cm .  :(

previously my other IDC was measured "2.5 by 1.8cm"  so it is weird that they would measure this "BB enhancing mass"  I don't know what this means but I don't like the size. Everything I read says multicentric has a poorer survival rate!!!!!

Point 8 cm is 0.8 cm (or 8mm). The radiologists dictate the report using voice recognition technology, so that's why it appear as point 8 cm as this is how it was pronounced.

    Lenimir you were right!

found out that both 'BB" and the "by point 8 cm" were both a typo during dictation!
