Capsular Contracture Repair and recovery

Hi,

I went in yesterday for repair of a capsular contracture on my left side (cancer side). My PS had recommended the surgery over a year ago but I resisted until things started to really hurt about Xmas time.

After I was all done she came out and told me that she decided to replace both sides (to get a better result I guess). She also did a fair bit of fat grafting.

I was wondering if anyone had experience with recovery from this. I am very sore today (and still a bit dopey) but am hoping to be feeling better sooner than later.

I am completely bandaged until next week when I go in for my first follow up appointment.
